When I got a new key the dealer had to have both to reprogram the new one and make sure the "old" one still worked. If you ask I think they can delete lost keys while they are programming the new one.

 

not an answer to your two key question but...I just got some new info from Nationwide insurance listing new benefits regarding my auto insurance and one of the new perks is a $400.00 max for lost keys...
If I lose one of those Porsche keys at least I have some recourse with Nationwide paying a large part of the replacement cost... I'm guessing replacement costs around $600. or so??

The answer to our two key question is ---- two keys.. I was hoping for a valet key but no such luck..
