Do you drive your Porsche in the rain?

Bah, forget just driving on twisty roads and wide open roads.... we don't need pictures of that to entice others about the joys of 997 ownership.
If I take some of you seriously, we should be yearning for how most of the miles are put on the 997 of some owners...
Good thing your 997 has a sunroof
Anyone order 6MT instead of PDK?
Glad your 997 has LSD, huh?
Why drive the family SUV? you could be in your Porsche!

But how it really works - You tell her, you'd rather have sex with someone much heavier and uglier, so you can appreciate her more on the weekend.

I would compare my 997 to a nice motorcycle I once owned a Suzuki Bandit 600. It may not have been the best motorcycle available at the time but I loved it.
I only used it on nice days - partly as I hate getting wet but mainly because I hated the chore of cleaning it afterwards if used in the wet.

I've got a Ducati Sport Classic that I think twice about riding in the rain. Not because of safety necessarily but just because waterproof gear is really only water-resistant gear. If it's raining hard you're going to get at least a little wet.
Luckily the porsche designers had enough foresight to include a roof. I could understand if someone was reticent to drive thier P car (especially if it's vintage) in accumulated snow but rain? The sheer ridiculousness of the topic has driven me to post.

Oh No - Ive created my first Frankenstein thread - somebody make it stop.
Some don't like to drive their Porsche's in the rain - others think that's a stupid idea. OK lets move on
