Good thing your 997 has a sunroof

Anyone order 6MT instead of PDK?

Glad your 997 has LSD, huh?

Why drive the family SUV? you could be in your Porsche!
What circle of hell is that? Horrible.

Thats funny - I thought of that analogy.

But how it really works - You tell her, you'd rather have sex with someone much heavier and uglier, so you can appreciate her more on the weekend.

I try not to leave my wife out in the rain. That really would erode any chances of sex, irrespective of the day.

Fortunately my 911 is much more resilient

I would compare my 997 to a nice motorcycle I once owned a Suzuki Bandit 600. It may not have been the best motorcycle available at the time but I loved it.

I only used it on nice days - partly as I hate getting wet but mainly because I hated the chore of cleaning it afterwards if used in the wet.

Bike in the rain - whole different story. Not fun.

I own C4S, I can't wait till it rains so I can rip the roads when rest of the traffic is terrified of the wet pavement

I've got a Ducati Sport Classic that I think twice about riding in the rain. Not because of safety necessarily but just because waterproof gear is really only water-resistant gear. If it's raining hard you're going to get at least a little wet.

Luckily the porsche designers had enough foresight to include a roof. I could understand if someone was reticent to drive thier P car (especially if it's vintage) in accumulated snow but rain? The sheer ridiculousness of the topic has driven me to post.

Well its been raining here most of the last two weeks. The 997 has stayed in the garage except for a few brief dry spells. Ridculous? perhaps but thats the reality for me.

i am very happy with waterproofing in 997 car. last Saturday event got canceled in the middle as we got severe thunderstorm and i was driving back in a pouring rain - it was no visibility at all, i was going at 40mph on shaved kumhos v700 and psm was kicking back and forth constantly - so - not a single leak inside, car is perfect and actually even clean now as it got free wash during this ordeal.

Oh No - Ive created my first Frankenstein thread - somebody make it stop.

Some don't like to drive their Porsche's in the rain - others think that's a stupid idea. OK lets move on
