My 09 S has the SPASM suspension/LSD. Love it, you cant go wrong. Best option for $950 IMHO

Agreed. The 997 is a great daily car. Ice Blue is a nice color - just make sure you do either sand/black/blue for the interior.

No sand...my vote would be for black or blue full leather interior. Yes you can't go wrong with 997CS and that color would probably be awesome in appearance. As for the 991 being able to be orderable in 12 months...good luck on getting one within 15-18 mos delivered and also at a reasonable price. I think it will demand a premium being a new model and all. How much of an "evolution" over the 997.1 and 997.2 previous generations is still to be seen. Good luck.

Ice Blue reminds me of Polar Silver with a little more blue tint. It looks good in the turbo S movie but not so good in the configurator.

Black leather. If you wanted to be bold do an oxblood red color to sample. If you wanted to be really bold do the can can red.

When is Ice Blue available as far as production? My dealer is saying Dec/Jan production, is this true?

Website says Oct. I have Turbo S on order in Ice Blue dealer tells me no firm date but my window of proposed build is late Oct to mid Dec. Say he will not have build slot firmed till Oct. I started the build last Dec. This year is never going to end

Nice thread. I am really addicted to this forum. I am a transplant from Pelican Parts. I am thinking of gettitng a C2 for my DD as I think it will be more reliable than my 964 although I have had no troubles as of yet. Have any of you ever been stranded in your 997 because of mechanical failure? That is what worries me the most so I have yet to venture far with my 964 usually stay within 40 miles of home.
