i am fortunate to have these in my car as well...didn't know they were there until i had had the car for a few days as i hadn't driven at night...was pleasantly suprised...nice job, these are really worth having...

Nice job. I think they look great, subtle and classy glow. I have it as well in CF to match the CF bits.

After I posted this, I decided to go the long route and use the doors as the power source. Not the footwell lights.

But why I mean the foot well lights do make sense and definately makes the whole procedure not only less invloving but it could also reduce the chances of all the rattles/creeks that could happen by taking the door panels off .

To the OP, are their any draw backs to the foot well light source?

Seriously thinking about this mod. To the OP, was there any downfall to using the footwell lighting? Called my dealer and he wants $960 labor(ouch) to install these. That's insane even if they do have to remove the door panels. That's double the price of the Sills themselves.

+1 - These came with my car and I have to admit, it's one of the things I enjoy the most when opening the door. It's silly and it's a small thing but for some reason it just adds a nice touch to the interior. Makes me smile.
