Total time was about 4 hours and that includes taking more than 40 pictures and putting the little sticker arrows in position.

Mumbles, with the help of a few friends, you could do it yourself. Not that difficult.

Thanks Dutchie.

Nice write up!

I put in the side grills already. Peace of mind!

I have the center grill available for sale to anybody if they want it...not going to use it for my car.

Boom's is preferable to the pet grill, imo. Part of the beauty of 911s is the stark variety. I like that.

Looks great! One question; when dead bugs, tiny pebbles, and other bits of crud inevitably get in behind the grills, how do you clean them out?

That's the 4 hour question.
Maybe you can just remove the "Bottom Apron" & pull down on the underside of the front skid plate & that will provide enough space so the stuff can be hosed out.

Or start spending money on these: http://www.zunsport.co.uk/

Could you please let me know where you got the grilles from, also If I am looking at doing the sides only, can you get at it without bumper removal.

Regards

I put the grille mesh kit on my GTS. I use compressed air to blow out whatever debris makes it past the screens. But, not much gets through.

Bumper removal is required, even for the sides. I purchased from Rennline...http://www.rennline.com/Front-Bumper...E89%2E92%2E93/
