Default Trunk not closing tightly

Hi,

My front trunk seems to not be latching tightly and it makes a thumping sound when going over road bumps. The latch works and the trunk is closed but when you press down on the trunk by hand right where the emblem is, it actually moves down by about a quarter of an inch, at which point the latch mechanism and the trunk make a contact sound -- which is where the sound comes from during driving over bumps. I am not sure I am describing this properly.

Does anyone know how to tighten this?

Thanks,

-T

Unscrew the little black rubber stoppers on the hood. Back them out and they will take up some slack.

I'll give it a try on the weekend. Thanks.
