Is the module plug and play?

If I purchased one and installed it does the PCM need to be reprogrammed? Or will it "find" the module?

If you install the telephone module (666) you have to have the PCM know to find it.

The dealer will plug in and turn on a particular code for the Phone Module. All PCMs are designed to handle the various options that can be added to the car--but they have to be specifically programed with a 13-digit alphanumeric code to activate and recognize it. (Everyone should have a record of these codes that belong to your car in the event something happens to your PCM. As it is today, if your codes become zeroed out your service center has to email your VIN to PCNA and then they send out the codes that are legitimately assigned to your car to them).
