Default Sirs: which gear do you sport while driving Carrera?

I am a weekends driver guy. Therefore, no helmet for me. However, I do find driver shoes excellent for shifting. The flat shoe sole really allows me to shift more rapidly than a normal shoe. I also wear the drivers to work and if I need to quickly get into the 911 I can do so.

Further, I find that in fall/winter time driving vests are the best bet, where as with a coat shifting your hand/shoulder is constrained. With the vests I can wear them in and outside of the Carrera since obviously they have no sleeves to hold me back.

So what gear do you sport while driving your Carrera? As always if I see you out on the roads its thumbs up.

Smooth soles' driving shoes are a good thing. The rest is fluff. I like light driving gloves - it's not a snobbish thing, I just like the touching feel.

Shorts, t-shirt and bare feet is my standard...But then, I live in Sunny SoCal. Comfort is king!

Cant imagine wearing gloves...unless you are on a track, what is the point?

IYHO right? yeah it cuts both ways.

But, fun apart, I understand that many may not like wearing gloves and even think (erroneously) that those who do are snobs. I like gloves cause it gives me a nice touching feel an mitigates my sweaty palms. For me they work.

Note: IYHO means - in your humble opinion. We all have to be humble with our opinions when posting on forums, according to some ...

I typically use gears 1-6. If I'm on a road trip, I'll sport 7th gear for better MPGs
