Sandals are quite dangerous as they can slip and you could miss throttle or braking. I would never wear sandals or flip flops to drive, even if I am going somewhere that requires it, I just take em with me, drive with Puma Ferrari shoes and change.
my sandals dont slip at all, the thong is tight and they are molded to my feet so they stay right straight on my foot, when i had 6sp to heel toe just brake with ball of foot and either pivot ball and blip gas with heel.. then again when i daily drive i VERY rarely come to the need to heel toe, when i drive to the mall or lunch im not diving into a corner ***** deep and needing a proper blipped downshift for me to fly out the other side... usually every corner has a stop sign. would love to see someone heel toe brake to a stop before making a right.lol

If you have a Cab, the only proper attire is your Sasquatch outfit.

I have found these to be understated elegance, but with the Porsche flair we all strive for, AND thay are excellent driving shoes, especially for heel and toe driving.
