I have the Fabspeed Maxflo mufflers with 200 cel cats and X51 headers. Best thing I ever did. Can't wait to drive it every morning. Haven't used the radio since I bought it. You can check it out on youtube:

Interesting as I also have the full AWE system on my 997.1S and the reason I chose AWE was it was one of the quieter system's out there that I had a chance to listen to.

I love my Tubi. It sounds great on a cold start, and fantastic in the high RPM range. There is no drone, and it pretty much sounds stock in the low RPM range.

Here is a video (not my car):

I didn't mind it at all. But my son always sits in the back and it is a lot more loud back there.

By the way, here's an audio file I had uploaded a while back:

I'm with JoeShark...but I can totally understand it being too loud in the back seats. I love the AWE for how dual natured it is. It will scream if you really lay on it, but you can totally roll into your home without waking anyone up (i have obnoxious neighbors)

I vote for Tubi's for that particular car. I have them, and I absolutely love them. The sound is very tame at normal throttle, however it really comes alive when you get on it. Real old school Porsche sound if you ask me. Just my $.02.
