I received an email from my sales manager that my 2011 C2 Coupe is on the ship as of May 12th, enroute to San Diego and should be at the Port sometime next month. That's the good news. Now the not so good news - He called his Porsche Rep., who said they will not be releasing any 2011 (997.2) until mid-summer, maybe end of July or August. However he also stated that Porsche changes it's mind daily.
Anyone heard anything different?

The worst part is the waiting. Time goes by sooooo sloooow when you are waiting for your new "baby".

It's a great feeling to know it's close by. Perhaps Pasha (the stevedores) process the ordered customer cars more quickly. Are you in San Diego? Otherwise it has to marry up with a truck that covers the entire West coast.

I also ordered 2011 C2 in April. The rep told me that it will be built in mid June and deliver in mid July. I live in NYC. I am counting my calander everyday. In May I changed the exterior color from White to Artic silver, I am not sure how this will affect the delivery date. I traded my 2008 S550, had 6 mercedes before, now bored with mercedes, first time for porsche, I am really excited.

Msrp in Canada is negligibly lower in all 911 models below the Turbo and GT cars for 2011. However it's always best to negotiate and lockdown your price when placing your order. I would think there would be minimal change in US prices as well for 2011.

Just got the call from the sales manager that my 2011 C2 is at the dealership and I'll going to pick it up after work tomorrow. Yea, baby!!
Orginally I was suppose to have a July build and a delivery in September (dealer is in the Pacific Northwest). But everything got moved up.
Reading this forum has really helped with the wait!!
