Some of these color combinations look fantastic, I really like them.

Everyone is different, if we all drove the same color P-cars life would get pretty boring.

Through an exhaustive search of every dealer website I found my car 1000 miles away. The options were just as I wanted plus the retro Carrera 4 decal on the side. I told the dealer to peel it off and credit me for vandalizing my car. He balked but sent me a pic wherein the matte black script was barely visible over the black paint. Fine. Gradually after taking delivery it grew on me. I've come to appreciate the subtle nod to the past but I'm not sure I'll pay extra for it next time around.

Yesterday I went to take a pic of the side for this thread but the decal didn't show. It was in the shade of the El and the car needs a wash.

I have an Arctic Silver pcar and considering running Orange lettered script...I think it may look cool? However, looking at Suncoast and Porsche websites you can't get the color...! DOh.

sorry to say, i ordered the SC wheels and we could not make them work with the narrow body. that pic is what they'll look like when the NB versions are in.

early when they went on the parts list, it wasn't completely clear what the offsets were so we ordered some to get them in from germany. we gave it a nice try but they stuck out too much.

we'll get them soon - and thanks for the compliments on the look

Thanks Bruce. What color scripts are you thinking of using on the Maritime?
My car came from the factory with the side stripes. The original owner specced them as part of the build. For that reason alone I'd probably never remove mine. Once removed I could never go back to the original "factory installed" scripts.

Thanks Sarge. Cool idea for a thread too!

Love your new avatar pic of your family on TV @ the Yankees game. That's awesome. Very photogenic kids to be picked for nationwide broadcast! Congrats!

And here's one more pic for the Rivi blue fans.

Thanks guys.

Phil

Its all a bit too much 1970's for me. Looks ok on a GT3 RS but on a ordinary Carerra S I think its a bit outlandish.

Thanks Phil. I took the wife and kids to a game last year. I decided to dvr the game as well, just in case......
Low and behold in scanning thu the dvr, they were foucused in on and were being talked about by the announcers. I was a very special treat, being a Yankee fan for life and I also did about $20 million worth of contracting at the new stadium.

Haha, Larchmont is 20 min from my house in Westchester. My cousin Jackie, owns Tequila Jacks in Portsmouth, you familiar with it? My Aunt used to live in Concord.

They offer Red, Yellow, blk and silver. GO for the red and slap on a set of red wheels, I see alot of GT2 and 3s like that.

That's exactly what I'd like...Orange on Silver but just to say "Carrera". Maybe some Orange new Fuchs style wheels to go along with it
