If I could order a new 911 right now it would be a PDK turbo in black exterior with all black leather inside but with the silver center console. (gear shift cover) + all options ticked including tourist delivery.

I just have to wait till I win the lotto.

I bought off the lot, but if ordering I would not have paid the premiums for:

PSE
PASM
Sport/Short Shifter
Colored logo on wheels

and in hindsight I would have bought a coupe instead.

I love my car the way it is equiped as I ordered it this way:

2009 Carrera S Guards Red
PDK
Sport Chrono Plus
Sport PASM
Sport Seats
Matching body color center console
red seat belts

I would like to get the Sport "Bucket" Seats next time and mod them to fit me better now that I know that can be done. Add a GMG Red Roll Bar and Scroth 6 point harness. I WISH Porsche would allow the steering wheel to come out further towards me and if the seats would sit a little lower that would be ideal for me.

Since I track my car I would not want PCCB, Center Lock Wheels or anything that adds a bunch of weight. I do not miss Bose or Nav in this car.

I would change nothing. I ordered it precisely as I wanted it to be.

I got my 997 used, and it's a stripper.
I don't have many options, 19's, bi-xenons, sport chrono, power seats, multi-function steering wheel and PSE.
It would be nice to have heated seats, navigation, Bose (maybe), ipod interface, bluetooth, self dimming mirrors, TPMS, and SSK.
Perhaps my next P car will be a S or a turbo (PDK).
Arctic silver is nice, but I really like Atlas Grey.

+ Full Natural Leather.
- Aero kit.

+ Carbon brakes.
- GT3 RS wheels

Close to a push economically.

I saw the center lock wheels on a GT3 this weekend. What a great idea!

leather sunvisors would have been nice. I wish I had PCCBs.
I agree with deleting the stopwatch on the dash, it a little reminiscent of the on-dash tach in a high-schooler's muscle car

i wrote down my options and then found one brand new on the lot with a good discount. I would now add PSE. I am not into the leathery or decorative stuff so I dont need / want that. Love PDK, SC, UAI, BT, Nav, SPASM, seat warmers for my back (before golf). Its perfect except for maybe PSE. Black is hard to keep clean but then again I'm not OCD if its not perfectly clean all the time.

I was initially planning on custom ordering and had priced out a stripper C2S with leather sport seats, midnight blue metallic, stone grey sport seats, and Bose. I ended up buying one off the lot at an excellent price and got a bunch of extraneous items

BDYCLR 9Q Meteor Grey Metallic 690.00
INTERI AP Black Sport Seats 360.00
OPTION 405 19" Carrera Classic Wheel 390.00
OPTION P01 Adaptive Sport Seats 2,695.00
OPTION 342 Heated Front Seats 480.00
TOPCLR 9Q Meteor Grey Metallic .00
OPTION XTW Door Finishers Aluminum Look 1,550.00
OPTION X70 Metal Door Sill Model Insignia 415.00
OPTION XCK Rear Cnt.Cnsl in Aluminum Look 730.00
OPTION 680 Bose Surround Sound System 1,390.00
OPTION 267 Self Dimming Mirrors 385.00
OPTION M6A Black Mats - Porsche lettering 115.00
OPTION X54 Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes 360.00

I regret not getting PSE.

I'm grateful I got meteor grey and classic wheels (much easier to care for) and adaptive sport seats. The other options I could completely do without. Heated front seats are useless in HI LOL. It was a price I couldn't refuse though.
