OT: Weekend Car
I use my 997 as a daily driver, but I know a lot of people have their 911 as their "fun" or "weekend" car. Well not me:
Brought it home last night (sorry for the crappy iPhone pics):
And where she sleeps:
Spacers already ordered, exhaust and springs soon.

Nope. To be clear, I didn't get rid of the Porsche, the 997 is in the other garage.

I don't think so, I wanted a car that my wife could also drive. My 997 is 6MT and the M3 is DCT. She refuses to learn. Also, wanted a drop top. Another 997 or Boxster is too small.

Sure is, 1978 FJ-40. Believe it or not I drove it in high school. It needs some engine work and has been sort of on the back burner for a few years, but I don't want to part with it. They are great vehicles and unlike the 997 or the M3, it is actually appreciating in value.

Ha? You're gonna use M3 as weekend car, and 997 daily? Kinda backward, although 997 is my daily, but I don't have any other car.

Congrats.
I'd be curious to hear your thoughts once you've driven the M3 for a while about how it compares to the 911.
Thanks,
