Pictures of 2009 C4S during and after Detailing
Hello. Just found a great guy who will detail your car like it's his own. Check out the pictures at: http://picasaweb.google.com/DoriaFamilyPhotos/2010C4S#
It says 2010 C4S, but my car is 2009 and the detailing guy was just confused. Enjoy.

looks amazing after, always wondered what they use to wash (im guessing they dont scrub) i always see the foamed up pic but never see anyone wiping/washing in pics..
i wash my own car, and i feel like i maybe inflict some of the swirls you see on yours from my method of washing/scrubbing

pre-detailing, I have been getting my car washed at hand wash places. But this one time after snow and salt, wife took it to an automated place. And the dealership's free wash service is worth exactly how much they charge for it. He started on the car at 9AM and was done at 3:45pm. Charged me $350. I asked for exterior only. His house is in White Plains, NY. He does this as a side hobby. Yea, it's crazy but he really digs this. A neighbor of mine, whom I am actually not acquainted, has Turbo S conv't and Cayenne Turbo that he gets detailed by this guy. I must tell you I am EXTREMELY happy with the result. No swirling marks anywhere, after a brief shower and pollens all over, the car still shines and does not gather dust. Def worth exploring. Email: justin@detailingtechnology.com

Here is what he said about the products he uses:
"WAX: I used this on your car and use it on all of my vehicles.

You can’t go wrong with any of the Optimum products. Optimum No-Rinse is one of the most versatile and widely used detailing products on the planet. All come in consumer sizes making them relatively inexpensive to test.
Chemical Guys is primarily a soap manufacturer. I’m not fond of any of their offerings outside of soap.
If you see any Poorboy’s or Adams you want to try, these are just rebranded Chemical Guys products. Avoid.
Zaino - Great product line, but not good for the spring in Westchester. The sealants attract pollen like a magnet. Zaino Z-10 is a must have product, you will put it on your briefcase as I do."

he was totally open kimono about sharing things -- says most car enthusiasts would love to detail personally but rarely do any of them have the time and patience required, so he doesn't mind sharing his "trade secret."

He said to use two buckets: one with soap and one for rinsing. Using grout spunge apply soap and then rinse the spunge in the rinse bucket, squeeze, then dip in the soap bucket and repeat.
