Default Blackberry Storm2

I have searched the forum and checked the Porsche website. The Verizon blackberry 9530 storm seems to be compatible with the pcm 3. Has anyone had any experience with the 9550 Blackberry Storm2 from Verizon. I have a 997.2. I presently use a Verizon BB 8830 which works flawlessly with the pcm 3. I am eligible for an upgrade and the newest compatible verizon BB seems to be the Storm which has been replaced by the Storm2. I have not been able to get any info about whether the Storm2 is also compatoble with the pcm3. Even Porsche customer service could not answer this question because they have not tested the Storm2. Anyone have any experience with the storm 2? Thanks in advance.

I have the Storm 2 and had absolutely no issues with this phone on the PCM. Enjoy it!

I have the Storm 1 and it works fine--I don't think the bluetooth is any different. I wanted to reply--at the risk of going off topic--to warn you to try the Storm before you get it. I had an BB 8830 previously and when I can jump will go to the BB Tour or Bold, the touch screen is not for everyone. Verizon is about to launch the Bold 9650.

Yes without any issues. Be careful as the Storm 2 touch screen is quirky. You may want to evaluate that first.

I had the Storm 1 and hated it (didn't have bluetooth PCM at the time). Now have BB Tour and very happy with it, and it syncs perfectly with PCM, contacts and all.

Thanks for the tip about the touch screen. I tried it in the store and I'm not sure I will like it. Sticking with 8830 for now. Thanks all for very helpful feedback.

I went fom the 8830 to the Bold 9700. I like it, they added a camera and wi-fi. Very high res screen. Syncs with PCM perfectly.

I ended up with the verizon blackberry bold 9650. I like it very much and it synched flawlweely with my pcm 3, including the phonebook. Sound quality is much better than the 8830 it replaced.
