The car is a 2009 997S with PCM Nav, Bluetooth, Universal Audio, Upgraded Bose, etc.
Quick question: Apparently in the Panamera you can do Audio over Bluetooth. Is this possible with the 997 PCM? If so, how do I do this? I've searched all over the car and can't find a way to connect the iPhone as an audio device.
i connect iphone in center console - connects to universal audio. Plays all my music - no need for cd player
It doesnt send audio from iphone to bose system thru bluetooth - atleast i dont think it does

It does sync up your phone book etc..
I have that part working with no issues, I am specifically looking to see if I can stream audio via blueooth.
Aw the iPod curse and why I don't own one for preambulatory/aerobic purposes. Why if I wanted to stream music via bluetooth in my car (not sure why I'd want to) I'd simply use my Sony Ericcson phone to my bluetooth Plantronics headphones.
No need to interface with the PCM.
Not sure why anyone would want to use headphones in the car, if that's your intent. I'd be surprised if any head unit supported this function other than those DVD players for back seat passengers.
If you really wanted to do this you could get a bluetooth adapter for your iPod and use that to stream to your bluetooth headphones.

None of this makes sense... But that's neither here nor there. Headphones, in this instance, has noting to do with what he is asking.
As to the OP and the original question... If it does have this feature, it will be very obvious as one of the input or audio source options. I have a feeling that it doesn't. If it did, you would know and you wouldn't be asking.
It is truly a great feature as it omits one step in dealing with your phone-head unit.
