How do you put your 997 on jack stands?

Thanks for putting it together. Since I take the wheels, without the car attached, to the tire shop I'll be doing this in a few weeks when I install a new set of summer tires.

Because of my ceramics, I NEVER let a tire shop near my car. I have an extra sets of wheels just so that I can avoid dealing with a wheel/tire shop in a way that includes the car.

Never heard or seen this in a dealer. I went down and asked them before I used a shop lift on my car. Use the standard jacking points but I use a hockey puck to protect the car and add a little buffer.

You will find that many shops will actually damage the side panels on your 997 if they lift them from the jacks points without putting something in between. A full hockey puck will not fit in there for them. I cut a couple of pucks in half so that they were short enough to get in there, yet still give some cushion.
