Oh. Did you ever hear of or see this? A d-bag kid flicks his cigarette into a top-down exotic car on a nice city street on a sunny day. Bystanders see it and rush to the car to extract the lit butt. Would bring tears to my eyes to see that kind of good Samaritanism.

Keep top up when car is parked in cities

+1 on bird in garage - I've had birds build a nest in the garage door opener.

Another hazard; teenagers coming and going from the garage leaving the non-porsche door open - who knows what will enter garage at night. e.g pollen, birds, leaves, armadillos (not that an armadillo would likely launch an assault on the car's interior).

I used to leave it down when driving daily but am in habit of closing it now. I tell myself I'm letting the turbos cool off as the top closes.

I think leaving top down for extended periods could lead to creasing. I bought my car off a dealer showroom where I think it had the top down for a while as it does have some creases still, 2 years later.
