If you watch their 997 review all the way through the conclusion was that it was "spectacular". The 997 also recorded its lap in the (very) wet - and recorded the same time as the E60 M5 in the dry.
Also, in another review they put the 997 vs. M6 and the Vantage, through some back roads and 997 (in the wet again), went around it MUCH MUCH faster despite having more than a 100HP disadvantage.

So, as much as he makes fun of 997 styling, their lap times and reviews are on the mark.

chrysler 300C. Beat on it like a rented mule. Great for burnouts. Huge inside. Its a changeup from a 911. But I still think the caddie's a better pick for you

Not everyone like the styling of the 300C but I like my SRT8 a lot
