Me, I had my own rubber stamp made and stamp my own book for the service that I do to indicate it was done.. just as if I were a commercially licensed independent shop.

I change my oil with the car on the ground. I only lift one rear corner to get under there and loosen the drain plug, put the drain pan in place and unscrew the plug to start the flow... then I lower the car, and thats it, the rest happens with all 4 on the ground. (yeah, yeah, danger of being under a car thats slightly raised by a jack not a stand, notwithstanding)

Nice pix. I jack up the rear and place the rhino ramp under the tire for support while working under the car--this takes care of the potential danger of jack failure.

What size is the oil filter cap? Not sure that's the proper name for the part..
Where can the socket be purchased?

With regards to the washer included with the plug... isn't it a ONE time use washer/compression washer?

A man after my own heart. If you don't prime the oil filter all of these frequent oil changes may do more harm than good!

I just changed my oil yesterday. Did not have to raise the rear of the car as my drain pan is shallow enough that I can fit my hand between it and the sump to take the plug out. I put in 8 quarts of Mobil 1
0W40 and drove it home. I let it sit overnight and added an additional quart this morning, after checking the oil and finding it two full segments down.
