Coming out of the garage...
#16
In the past 5 months I have only seen one 997 on the road, and that was last week. The North East had a very rough winter. Mine spends the winter months in a heated garage, under cover, hooked to Porsche battery tender. I use my Jeep and Pick-up truck for the snow season. We had one storm in February that dropped 17 inches of snow. I can't imagine any 997 in 17 inches of snow and i wouldn't want to find out.

one of my favorite games on a leisurely Sunday drive is playing "Count the 911s" along the stretch of Pacific Coast Highway from Sunset Boulevard to Paradise Cove up in Malibu.
My personal record is 17!!!!
(Note: I don't count Cayman, Cayenne, Boxter....)

That's basically how I got my 911 - drop in prices meant I could afford one - at least a 2005 Carerra S with all the extras. I am middle class I suppose (police sergeant) but have always had nice / sometimes expensive cars.
I don't use the 911 as an everyday car though just nice to take it out now and again on dry days.
My main daily drivers are my Toyota Landcruiser and my 1994 Mercedes E220 Coupe.
