Thanks. Great story.

I had always assumed that PTS wasn't really what the words implied. Instead, based on my reading of Porsche forums ('fora' for the pretentious or better educated), I assumed that PTS was really shorthand for "paint the car in a discontinued Porsche color." Happily, I was wrong and learned something new -- not that I am tempted by metallic salmon pink or whatever.

In my personal opinion, it's a very nice color, fitting for a pretty mercedes or jaguar convertibles, but it doesnt go with such uber driving machines as Porsches, BMW Ms or even Merc AMGs.

I think that's a perfect name for it.

Default Anonymous Blue

I spent 2 days at the Geneva Motor Show last weekend and I stood looking at that very car. I have to say the colour left me completely cold. I didn't even notice it.

Just proves that this is a very personal choice!

Mark.

The color has much more blue than silver in it in comparison to the photos attached to the original post. Its kinda darker also. I've seen the car in person and taken this photo myself

As for the color, I think its nice and elegant. It would be a very adequate choice as a daily driver for a profession with a formal dress code. On the other hand, I must agree it looks too soft on the Turbo, just not "sporty" enough

I'll take it straight of that Geneva convention floor and spend the next few months driving up and down every single mountain pass in those Alps. My grin will glow so much the car color will pale by comparison. And every single guy I pass will be in envy of not having that car, whatever color you pass him in And yes I like it !

Here's "Polar Silver." It's less saturated than the one we're discussing. FWIW

I have one other pic but its actually a view of the Porsche stand in general. In addition there's one of the Turbo S interior with paddle shifters.
