No. That's for a 997.2. There's only 2 mufflers on a 997.1 not 3 like the 997.2

it is a piece of pipe that is welded in between the 2 pipes that go to the stock cans.

While I may be a bit biased... remember that what you save now may be lost at the time of trade-in, if you go that route. Also understand this is a noise only mod.

It is also the easiest mod to undo.

Also a heck of a LOT cheaper. For pure sound improvement is there anything better? I have the Fister Stage III on my 993. Its superb and I wish there was something as aggressive as this available for the 997

I know the Tubi adds a bit more power but I think the sound is comparable and the Tubi is 10x the cost

I was wondering about this.. I am old school domestic car guy, and thinking a Electric cutout right about where this is done would be the best of both worlds.. pretty much a HOMEmade PCE..

thanks for the explination.. i will be doing this.

I guess we all have a different opinion of what a nice sound is. (There is no right or wrong)
Listening to the clip it sounds to me like a car with a bad exhaust.

It isn't as refined as the noise you get from a quality aftermarket unit but it's a fraction of the cost and gives the car a nice growl under throttle.

It cost me less than $150. I won't be complaining any time soon.
