"Mark" and Kerry are certainly the best. Can't say the same for the others. One service adviser called a friend of mine a "pain" when she complained that the service that was just done, in fact wasn't done...... And the problem persisted. For $160.00 an hour labor who is the "pain".....

As a pcar noob I take much more from this forum than I contribute. I'm pleased to learn that those familiar with your operation had positive experiences since you're the closest. I'll be back for service but only infrequently I hope.

Often the guys washing cars are washing dozens a day so they might be more interested in speed than care. OTOH, some dealers have professional detail facilities, so it probably depends. Personally, I just figure no one will be as careful with my car as I am, so I prefer to do it myself. But certainly understand why having it washed works out great for others.

Right. Neither had I. It's the term corresponding to the open recall # W913 given by the computer. This description is lacking and I now see it listed on my invoice as "Clamp kit. Muffler."

heading there this week with my new 997. will let you know how it goes.

Also, new to the group. just picked up a 2007 in dc and drove it back to chicago friday (yes through all the snow).
