PDI-IS OIL CHANGE
I bought a new 997.2 in december 09, It was in the show room for the longest time. I realized the built date was nov 08. therefore has the oil been in since nov 08É, and should it be changed sooner than usualÉ (3600km now)

Just me but I'd change it every 365 days no matter what.
Why? Well, Mobile 1 has a 5 year shelf life capped. It's VERY stout. About the only thing that can degrade it is moisture. Montreal is pretty freakin' humid right? Technically the dealer would have needed to start and run the motor for 20 minutes at least once a month to meet even Mobile 1's moisture build up avoidance guidelines.
The additives might breakdown and they are what keeps the parts clean and unclogged.
If it were my 911 I would change it every 365 days. No matter what.

Second that and I'd get the dealer to cover it as part of the deal.
If the oil was still in its original bottle I'd agree that age doesn't really matter.
In reality, however, the car is still on factory fill oil mixed with assembly lubricants and has a saturated paper oil filter - it is well due for a change.
