I think Ken in Irvine will be proven correct--the delta will be within the margin of error of the dyno.

Sorry guys. I have not had time to take it in... It looks like firday will be the best time to do it next week as I will be out of town m - w for work.

what good is it to make the exhaust breath, but do nothing to the intake?? Just asking?? My prediction, that it'll loose TQ

And yes jet coating (or the like) the header and pipe would make a difference in the heat retension.

It not only reduces heat transfer outside, but by keeping the heat "inside" the exhaust and it increases exhaust velocity, which should help scavenging. As far as looks, those stock headers are SS and they look terrible. My Jet hot coated headers are over 5 years old and they look new.

How often do you find yourself looking at them under there?

I had X51 on last car, because they look better. But I found no other difference so decided not to put them on current car. Just because they look like they should perform better doesn't mean they do, despite all the theories people come up with. And nobody has yet been able to conclusively prove they add to performance.
