My wife thought a Panamera was a Japanese..
imitation of a four door Porsche. While driving on the 101 tonight she saw one for the first time and says to me "look at that japanese car...their they go again trying to imitate the germans". She was not to happy when I told her it was Porsche. She sincerely thought it was diluting the breed.

I wasn't too happy when the Cayenne came out, but imagine the trouble Porsche would be in if it never existed.
I drove the Turbo and it is an impressive car for sure. My wife really liked it too. I can't see Porsche selling too many of these in this economy though...

i don't understand why people on this forum always describe the wives like dumb bxtch? i think women deserves some respect too although they don't know too much about cars... we can't tell the difference from LV and Gucci too...

Women don't pay attention to details in mechanical things like men do, nor do they do any homework in general. Their information source is other women through the medium of gossip. I am quite learned now in luxury brands as I've had to in order to be more aware of my wife's spending habits/flux. Credit card bills only tell half the story.

I guess some guys have to choose between looks and brains. Sorry about that.
(I sincerely hope that was a troll...)

We've got more than a few female members here at rennlist who know plenty about cars and drive the heck out of them. Although reading crap like this I begin to wonder why they stick around.

PANAMERA! The Cayenne started it: Porsche following silly trends in styling! The ship of timeless elegance and classicism is sinking. The headlights are getting very bad. The dual "crimp" lines in the hood are extremely depressing.
Man..... once the classic 911 goes down the tubes by headlight changes and excess extra lines and frilly BS, it'll be the end of an era!
