Sorry, doogies, but you had that one coming. And THANKS Nugget . . . you would be correct. But unlike men, or at least some of them, I don't need to use a list to prove that I am an enthusiast, but definitely NOT a butch. My husband actually loves the part of me that loves and takes care of our cars. He is also very supportive of when I race or when I instruct at the track. I guess it takes all kinds.

Really, doogies? Butch??? ROFL! Man, you gotta get out more. I'm not exactly a 'hottie', but I've seen plenty of them at the track, and they aren't slouches by any means, nor are they absent of mechanical knowledge. Not all of us chicks are the same. Don't clump those of us female car lovers into a category, please.

Well I must say your 993 looks awesome, i've seen it on 98 quite a few times. I think it's the only one in town.

That color, yeah, I think so, Para, and yes, the only 993 I've seen anywhere around here. You know where that new hotel is? Next to some three-story apartments just west of Publix, IIRC)? There's a silver 996 that parks there. Navarre Beach is maybe three miles from here. Very neat that you noticed my car!!! I try and keep him clean but he really needs a paint job. Too many rock chips on the hood and bumper. Can't find a decent place to get a paint job, though.

I know we are off topic now, but I'd be very interested in meeting you and yours sometime soon! I don't see hardly any P-cars around here usually. Take care, and wave next time.

Well, I think next weekend there is a car gathering at Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach, I think it's mostly a mustang thing but would be cool to see your 993 there.

Something tells me you don't know jack about the women of Rennlist. You are clueless, my dear.

Here in Dubai there are a ton of Panamera's running around and at first I thought it was ugly. Now I love it...

People should be thankful Porsche came out with the Cayenne and Panamera...it may not be your taste but they certainly hepled to saved Porsche.

I have to eat crow in this one folks. I was minding my own business cruising down the 101 into LA and low and behold I see something dark and ominous filling my rear view mirror. DRL's blazing, I thought it was a Vette, a Maserati, WTF was this??? Passed me on the left and it was a drop dead gorgeous metallic black Panamera Turbo with wheels painted the same color, tinted windows.....I was impressed.

I didn't chime in here, but I think apart from hard core Porsche guys, the consensus is that Panamera styling is a miss! SPECIALLY in the rear.

Interior is great, car dynamics is great, engine is right up there with the big boys, but they messed up the styling.

I saw the car first when it was unveiled in Frankfurt Auto show, at the same time when Aston Martin Rapide was revealed, and as much as I was a Porsche guy, and that we are partner with them (at work), and I was doing a Porsche factory tour... I couldn't help to compare the styling to Aston Martin Rapide and to desire it A LOT MORE than Panamera... Panamera definitely is not a looker, while it's a performer!
