Wow, lots of "I'm a real man, I respects the women and I wouda voted for da Hillary." Get a sense of humor, unless you are not yet married as all married men eventually do. Our differences and idiosyncrasies are what keeps us clicking well into our golden years.

Yes, I think he works for Nissan now. It's looking less and less like a Porsche's supposed to look:

At 4200-4500 lbs, I can't say it is a real engineering marvel. It is also ugly as sin.
I think I would rather have an M5. At least it is roomy inside for the weight. And, it offers all the performance and handling you could ask for.
Even the CTS-V makes more sense to me. Maybe if Porsche hands out a tin of Kool-Aid with each Panamera instead of a USB Key..
And..........What happens when the new M5 comes out?

Good point, i'd take a V10 M5 any day over the Panamerica. The new CTS-V would probably smoke it too.

Let me ask....."damn, thats an expensive japanese car....but not much more than the VW on steroids your driving"

BTW, my wife has an IQ of 156 and very accomplished person...even if she gets lost reading a map. Married for 25 years, so lighten up people.

Me? M5 is too "Nasty Road Warrior" in comparison. They both fail; though the P-car still has a hint of elegance.

Abe, I am a bit confussed by your post title:

"May wife thought a Panamera was a Japanese.. "

What do your "April" and "June" wifes think of the Panamera, for example?? LOL!

Taste is a personal thing, but saying that the M5 (or the CTS-V) is better looking than a Panamera is beyond stretching it (just look at the pics below). Unless one prefers cars looking over-agressive and in-your-face.

And those who say the M5 is a perfect driver's car, they have never driven a Panamera, at least to appreciate it. I disagree as I have driven both extensively, not just a test drive.

The rear end needs some work. It is indeed Porsche performance all the way, I got to drive one in Monterey last year.
Keep in mind that Anatole Lapine worked at AMC before he came to Porsche and took over styling there. (Notice the similarity between the Pacer and the Porsche 928?)

um, my comments on the P's performance vs others:
I drove the S & TT modle. Both will smoke the current m5. The TT will smoke the caddy, as it should at 2x the price!
when the new m5 comes, P will, as always, just flash the ECU to make more!

BTW, theres no way the TT is putting down just 500hp.

and speaking of the m5, i kinda wish they revert back to the good ol days of the E39. My Fav B sedan.

There's a difference between being funny and just being plain wrong. The fact of the matter is that there are female car enthusiasts who can drive circles around you at the track and know more about Porsches than you do. I'm ok with that, are you?

Sir, may I suggest your "System of Beliefs" may need updating? Go for it! Every time I update mine I feel a bit more happiness.
