I'm starting to like it from that angle.

Why doesn't Porsche call it 928? Panamerica is gayer than Cayenne.

AAHH! Enough Panamera crap already... VW/Audi should pickup the slack on the GT side of things and let Porsche focus on SPORTS CARS!

I'd love to see the buyers who apparently want the 911 to keep growing fatter and softer happily buying a different model.

My favorite is "It doesn't photograph well but it's nice in person."

I saw them at the showroom, and i've seen them cruising on the road and it still looks like the obese LED German tart that it is.

It's like the people who say, oh well she's gorgeous (she just needs to lose 50 lbs)

Personally, I love the idea. The Panamera S and Panamera Turbo I've driven drive very, very well. But I think it's ugly as sin and I hope they can do better with a coupe than this photoshop indicates.

I wish they would actually call it a "928"... but of course they won't. And I agree with the comment above -- if this car can siphon off the GT-buyers from the 997 line, thereby enabling the 997 to lose some weight/complexity, then I'd say it's a huge win for everyone.

Ideally... Porsche shoud leave the SUV and 4-door to VW/Audi, and focus on sports cars... GT sports car could probably be an option... but with both Cayenne, Panamera, a GT is just too much, too crowded of a line-up!

That car would give the Ferrari 612 a major run for its money at half the cost. I think it would be a bigger seller than the Panamera. Looks are way better. If Porsche sticks to its double of its sales in four years they will have to come up with more Models makes sense to me. But what do I know I just buy the cars.

I love the Panamera, and would commit serious crimes for a GT like that.

They'll gimp it like the Cayman because this too would probably outperform the 911's if produced to its full potential.

I love it. A GT class Porsche with performance and luxury certainly has it's place in the market place. I also agree with many of you who feel it could benefit the 911 line by allowing it to be more focused on performance and not luxury. Everyone wins.

Wouldn't surprise me if that's what the 911 will look like one day.
