^ dave, stay out of the medicine cabinet, it's making you say silly things.
i love the thinking that putting a true GT car in the lineup to compete with the like of Maserati would help them get more focused on the 911

The rear engine flat six days are numbered as the flagship. I think Porsche has gotten just about every thing they can get out of it.

I think it is pretty cool - fixes the too long roof line of the Panamera. I think those looking for a comfy, plush, yet sporty Porsche will like it.

Right - Porsche thought about that before - around the time of the other 928 - would have been a disaster for them. I got two words for them "New Coke". You cook your goose that lays the golden eggs and...your goose is cooked.

If they make this they'll sell lots and lots........ It's a great looking car, muscular, pretty and (unlike the Panamara sire) well proportioned.
It's a modern-day 928.

im sure this will be in addition to the 911... dont see the 911 going anywhere. this is just a new take to go against the markets they noted in the article..

911 was always standing on its own ground and any unification attempts will only ruin it as a platform I afraid. But, only time will tell, of course.

I like it, although it looks similar to the Ferrari 456, especially the air duct shape and placement in the front fender.
BTW, not my picture, I found it on the web, all rights reserved to the owner of the picture.

That's how the Panamera should have looked.
Porsche really missed the mark with the C-pillar area style wise on the Panamera, which makes the car fugly. I know they wanted the rear head room, but there are other sedans out there that accomplish the rear space need and still look pleasing to the eye.
