seats for fat ****
6'6" @ 260lbs I need an agressive sport seat that will accommodate my largess
What are you guys running? Pics and such would be nice.
Ideally, are there factory options? I have base model seats in my car now, what are the GT3 RS seats like? How about GT2 seats? It's impossible to find a dealer that has a car specced with anything other than base and sport seats and the adaptive seats are not an option. (weight)

i can't speak for the OEM seats but speedware motorsports here in seattle (redmond, wa) is a major dealer of sparco, recaro, etc and do a great job of accommodating these types of requests.
no affiliation on my part...

It sure would be nice to shed some weight (from the car, lol). The rear decklid, rear and front seats are quite heavy.
I think I just prefer the idea of having a nice tight seat and would love to grab a bar and harness for tracking. Almost like it validates having a 911.

I am 6'4" and 220#, the OEM seats are fine, plenty of headroom, and I need to scoot the seat forward just a little, or I cannot depress the clutch all the way. What kind of **** dimensions are we lookin at here?

Not only weight but also price and head clearance.

My stuff notwithstanding, you should decide what you want in terms of fit and material then go hunting.

6-4 and still carrying holiday weight of 250. The A.S.S. fit almost exactly right for me with the side bolsters and such. Headroom is more generous in the cabriolet of course because of the thin roof and no f'ing required sunroof to take away headroom.

6'6" and 240lbs here.
Both regular sport seats and adaptive sport seats fit me just fine in all respects, including with a helmet....
The one piece euro seat is to narrow and uncomfortable....
I haven't tried the new folding sport seat, but it looks to have a wider butt holder !

I am 6'3", 245 lbs, full hips, and the Euro GT3 seats are way to snug for me. I have *** in my 997.2 and they are a little snug but very comfortable around town or on the highway or on quick mountain roads.
If you are moving toward track use, I have Recaro SPG XLs in my 996 GT3 which is 98% a track car. They are wider in the seat than the Euro GT3 seats, and the hole for the harness shoulder straps are higher to fit a taller torso. They are also light in weight. Headroom is not an issue, since the 996 GT3 has no sunroof
