What I'd like to know is how a 997.1 GT3 RS compares to a 997.2 GT3... I absolutely love the looks, specs, etc. of the RS, but the 3.8L GT3 is very alluring.

Yes and I'm bored to tears with it... If my C4S were manual, I'd keep it forever - I love the spec with the Sport Buckets, the color, the nav, BT, etc.

In a nut-shell though... the 3.8 doesn't rev quite as quick but has more tq down low. The suspension is slightly more compliant with less movement etc...
