Probably just like your car, in the 997 you have to pull a bunch of slack out of the inertial reel, then loop the belt around the back of the seat to reach the receptacle. It works, it's just kind of a pain. Lot's easier to just plug this in. Cost me $2.00 at a salvage yard. Installed pic is from my old 996.

LOL. I love it!

It's also a set of in-a-pinch brass knuckles, as screwdriver for those extra large screws.

Nice.

Too bad it can't also serve as a spare key!

Default Number of chimes

Anybody in U.S. noticed how many times the chime rings when you drive away without your seatbelt buckled?

92

As in 9+1+1 = 911

Coincidence? I think not!

: )

Slightly off topic, but have u noticed how perfect of a bottle opener the seatbelt buckle is? One of my rare ah-ha! moments.

LOL. I can't wait to try it out.

OTOH, it would be really nice if Porsche seat belt buckles could be redesigned to incorporate the principle of the cork screw.

Something for "Porsche Driver Selection" to figure out?
