What would be your opinion - I need to leave my car at dealership to get water pump replaced. I do have Softronic ECU flash - do I need to revert it back to stock or not? Can dealers` PIWIS notice it automatically or not?

Have anyone left his car for service with ECU flash on with no consequences?

Have my 07 C2S service and had Softronics and never had an issue. They will not be looking deep into your ECU if they are doing a water pump replacement.

I think they want to keep you the customer/buyer happy and will look the other way (or not look at all) unless they are unavoidably confronted with it and have to report it to their masters at PAG. My guys seemed to bend the rules (on another matter) so I and they would benefit at Porsche's slight expense.

They will never know you have it. The only way might be if you had an engine failure and they sent the ECU to Germany for a forensic investigation. For a water pump they might not even plug your car in...
