Default Sorry you can't come out to play

I love my new snow tires/wheels on this sunny 26'F Chicago day. Just got back from a three hour morning drive with the wife around town, up north, down south, with a stop off for Dim Sum.

Darn tires still have those little rubber "hair" on the tread so I think they still need more break in.

Can't wait for the snow to stick this season. I already have a few vacant out door lots pegged for a few of my rigorous scientific Porsche experiments: First, I plan to find out if my 4S can actually do donuts. And secondly, I want to see for myself if that "pull-the-hand-break-up-one-click-to-disengage-the-front-wheel-drive" is myth or truth.

There's just too much fun to be had in life to worry about salt and snow. Nothing a quick car wash with an under carriage flush can't cure. I prefer to prepare for problems, not hide from them. That's my 2 cents. Hope everyone has a safe (AND FUN) winter season.

Oh I'm sure you can.

Oh yeah, guess who is being drafted to stand in the cold parking lot to video tape my winter donut experiments?!

I have to say that I truly feel for those of you in the Rust Belt. Having lived in such an environment throughout the world I can empathize with how you have to store the babies away for at least 4-5 months! it's really rough! What it all means is that you have live the Porsche life that much more aggressively during the Spring and Summer months! Hang in there! Absence makes the Porsch' go fasta!

Very very sad. My 2006 with 12k miles has depreciated from upper 90s to roughly 53k. With or without the harsh winter conditions! Drive it;-)

Buffalo, NY. 12/1/2009.

Remember to keep the garage heated and those pipes warm!

I winterized too, but by putting 18s on, winter tires, and rubber mats! I am on C4S, kinda itching for first snow to try it out!

I would not trade the CA weather, backroads, mountain roads and general quality of life, for anything in this world. I can live with its ills.

I would disagree with that being a AAA Approved garage
