he was making generalizations about owners. Not to mention "rattle trap" and "pos" have been thrown around.

it doesn't matter cause the guy is lying anyway.

Not to mention a ZO6 would spank the ever loving crap out of 90% of all P-cars ever made on a road course. That doesn't take into account the ZR1.

Sure they don't have the prestige or build quality of a Porsche, but they over a hell of a lot more performance for the dollar.
Nice language.

I think you'd fit in with the Chevy crowd just fine.

So coincidental to this thread, i actually was given a ride today in an 800 hp Z-06! My friend owns a prominent speed shop that does total refabs on the likes of Mariano Rivera, Busta, Henrik, etc, etc. The car was a typical muscle car, creaking an squeaking over every bump, bouncing about and not being able to transfer the power to the pavement, just wheel spin galore. He even said it before I did, "yeah this is ***** as powerful, but cant hold a candle to German engineering like your S". I was there today cause he put an amg wing on my 10' E550 and a light tint. In ths spring I am going to slap on some custom wheels he made. Here is a link to his shop, he did a lot of custom wheel work and carbon fibre for Will Castro of Unique Whips also. http://www.proformanceindustries.com/.

What a thread! Along with never having driven a BMW, I've never driven a Corvette, either. But I enjoy cars. Mostly race cars. I guess I'm a racist.

800 hp is nice, but maybe he should of tried spending money on the suspension. I've got just under 700 hp and almost no wheelspin in my Ford, but that's because I invested in a quality Griggs setup, 100 mph comes in under 8 seconds and is a blast.

no, not Jerry, much better looking, and not quite 150, just a guy that loves cars, and has been lucky enough to be able to afford all of them. Those were just a few of the over 150 I have owned in my life. Be glad you can afford to drive these cars, but I'm willing to bet most of you did not go from your first cat as a teenager to a Porsche 997, so keep in mind that person whose car you are trashing might be more of a car lover than you might imagine, and just might want a Porsche of his or her own when they can afford it. Happy Thanksgiving

Not sure of the suspension, but tricked out for sure. It was also very low to the ground, lower that any Vette I have seen. Funny you mention a Ford, I have a cool little Ford of my own! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3347621

lol, I hope you are better looking, that is not to hard to achieve! Cheers on all those cars. My roots are a Mustang / Ford guy. Here is my current Mustang http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3347621
I despise Chevy's and think they are the worst of American cars, period. To me Ford is the best overall and the Mustang has the best quality of the pony cars and always did.
