Default Would you guys consider being 3rd Owner CPO

Looking at a nicely optioned '07 S (see below for options) which has already had two owners. Dealer leased car originally and then leased this car to a loyal customer that trades very 2 years. 22k miles and asking 64,950. Second owner did aluminum rear center console, aluminum shifter and sport shifter. Please advise and give pricing ideas. Thanks in advance.

X54 - Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes
982 - Supple Leather Front and Rear
267 - Self Dimming Mirrors
P15 - Power Seat Package
446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
670 - Navigation for PCM
342 - Heated Front Seats
680 - Bose High End Sound Package
692 - Remote CD Changer (6 Disc)

If car checks out and you really want car, offer dealer $54K.

www.kbb.com gives trade in value of this car -- in good condition and a car with 22K miles and 2 owners with some mods can only be considered in good condition -- of $49.9K. And likely dealer has less in the car than that. So, $54K a reasonable price. Course, you can start out lower and then slowly and in decreasing amounts up your offer some.

Price not fact only an opinion and there's always another car.

Sincerely,

Macster.

As a reference - I just bought an 06 Carrera S with only 6K miles and an MSRP of $99K (with the desirable full leather and PSE exhaust for about $55.5K including the CPO warranty. This was a MINT 1 owner car and his dealer handled the transaction and offered to CPO the car for about $2K. I waited 6 months to find the exact car I wanted.

Being an 07, I would offer pay about $55K max for the car.

What color is the car?

I should receive mine by the end of the week! Can't wait.

Rip off. I've seen 2008's with below 7,000 miles go for that price.

As a reference I picked up a 2005 997 S with 10,038 miles for 51k (including taxes). Options included PCCB's, Full leather, PASM, Sport Chrono, A.S.S seats/heated, Nav, Bose, Xenon, Ipod integration, XM,

mint condition (apart from tires)

Way too much for a 2007 car. Keep shopping.

It's all about the car and price.

Too good to be true?

It also came with a recent service at 10,000 miles, full in and out detail and a car cover from California Car Cover.

Regarding multiple owners, I wouldn't worry. I bought a 2006 'S' lease return with 9K miles, put 3K on it, and traded for a 2009. Some might worry about a 3rd owner coming into the picture on a 12K mile car, but it's not due to any fault on the car's part. The dealer CPO'd my former car, listed it at $52,900, and sold it in 3 days. When it comes to higher-end cars with owners who tend to be more fickle (and can afford to be that way), I've never been one to worry about multiple-owner cars. Regarding the pricing of the car you're looking at, the above posts and my car's sale ('06 S, $91K original MSRP, 12K miles, CPO, $52.9K dealer asking price before negotiations) should be helpful.

I got lucky. Though it did take 7 months of aggressive searching.

You should start in the mid 50's they are in lala land in the mid 60's. You can get a NEW 09 C2S in the mid 80s MSRP @100K so that should be a guide. If you can afford mid 60's then you should get a CPO car much newer for alot less miles. Keep checking in here. THere are some sales guys here that can give you a better idea of what the price is used. But for mid 60's you should be able to approach a used 09 Carrera non S ball park I would think
