Funny you should say that I have a 1" crack on the top rear of the CF wheel. And I've seen a crack in another CF wheel (on a 993), it's an issue I tell ya!

I'm sure the CF and plastic coating are nothing but a skin on a regular wheel I bet. The top arc of the wheel has too much flex and sits thru many heat cycles. Even when I do get it replaced, under warranty, I'm not confident the wheel will last more than a few years. Maybe I should request this 997.2 wheel the arc diameter looks smaller or an all leather wheel at warranty replacement, dunno?

I was going to ask you if you had seen this post: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...ml#post7053738

But I see it was your thread, so I assume you had seen it.

Why not go ahead and get it replaced while it's still under warranty, so you won't have to worry about it later.

Gotta love it! I can't tell you how many times I overhear people walking up to my (Blue Turquoise) car and stating to their buddy, "that's Mexico Blue." Of course, I have to jump in and straighten them out.

We still need to get a Maritime, Mexico, Riviera, and Blue Turquoise together for a few shots in the same lighting.

P.S. Might as well throw in a new 997 Speedster, as well!

Thumbs up

This is my blue paint-to-match 2008 911 C-4. It is sort of like the Club Coupe blue but not exactly.
