No idea about an '08, but for 997.2 it has been brought up several times and when I was shopping, sales and service said no:

Certainly the PCM3.0 is new and there's also the XM traffic bit as well - really the main reason I wanted XM.

Dan, not to worry. My last thread was my debate between this and an '07, considering I expect to put 22-25k per year on it. This should save me the expense of a battery tender.

Dave, thanks!. It really is about time! Apparently the ventilated seats suck, they don't blow, which is excellent. This car is so well designed, it covers up effluvial indiscretions rather than advertising them.
