Woooohoooo!!! Finally about to pick up my 997!
After a couple of years of consideration, planning, and deciding, it's finally time. I want to thank everyone on here for the valuable insights, sound advice, and the tremendous wealth of knowledge that I've been able to absorb over the past couple of years.
I'm picking up my new '09 C2S tomorrow from one of the local dealers. I had really thought about a Targa, but at the end of the day, this one is the right color, perfectly equipped, and too good to pass up. I won't dwell on price, but I will say that between the trunk money and the dealer's readiness not to have any more '09s taking up space, this worked out to be a great deal.
I don't have the spec sheet with me, but here are the high points:
Midnight Blue
Sand Beige
Bose
Heated seats
Ventilated seats
Power seats
Bluetooth
Universal audio adaptor
Floor mats
Pimple
Self dimming mirrors
Dynamic cornering lights
The arrangements have been made, and she comes home with me tomorrow.
I can't wait! I'll post pics as soon as I have them, and add another post on Monday to let everyone know how the first 2000 miles were this weekend.

And no XM? XM cannot be added later (neither can PDK ).
Not that any of that is a deal breaker at all. Congrats.

I bought an '08 and had the dealer add an XM module from a Cayenne - works as if stock, no difference.

Don't forget to go out and DRIVE the car! Don't even THINK of putting a battery maintainer on it. Consider that your mission in life...to keep that battery alive!

Well it's about time!
Congrats Alex.
Now go eat a big bowl of chili and let us know if those ventilated seats truly work.
