Have another one to ask your opinion on, what would you pay for this car?

I'd say about $50K. I just got $46.5K for a similar '06 C2S w/12K as a trade-in value from my dealer (with Texas tax credits it basically translated to $50K for me), so I'd expect to pay just a bit more from a private party.

I paid 51K for a 2005 997S with 10k miles. It had PCCB, adaptive sport seats, sport chrono, Bose, full leather, Nav, ipod, XM. Private party, mint condition.
I think 48-49k is a good deal, my guess is they could get 50k easily.

Very helpful... so the dealer was asking 63k for it. he then lowered to 60k after no bites, and when I came along and offered 48k he got insulted. I decided to post here to see if I was crazy. Says he bought it for 52k the CPO cost him 2k and he put 4.5k in service into it so that he would sell it for 59k to breakeven...sounds like a story to me

He'll be sitting on it for awhile. A neighbor bought a CPOed 06 S with similar miles and lots of good stuff (but no PSE) for $50K a YEAR ago, locally.

It's like many of my sellers (real estate) right now --- suffering from a little seller disease we call 'Unrealistic Expectations.' Only time and a lack of demand will cure it. I still think $50K w/CPO is the right number.
