Mine is the latter one. But you need to beef up the installation. You have to add more hardware. Check my photo out for placement. As with most companies, they have sort of gone half-way with it, keeping the hardware costs of the kit to a minimum. If you only use what they supply it doesn't fit right. It CAN be installed with the nose on the car, but it's a b$$%#.
