Congratulations on such an incredible deal! The only detractor for the color is that bugs are attracted to it! Go park it in a meadow some day and tell me what you discover.

Even if you had to replace some of that with the toned down bits, it would still be a killer deal. I'm still floored when I look at those numbers.

Pictures of the interior "color options" actually don't translate well at all to what you see or how it feels when you're sitting in it. Looking at the interior shoot, I saw the trim piece above the key for the first time. It's much more subtle under normal driving conditions. I wouldn't change it at all now and i was concerned about it before i bought it.

Now for the next important question: is there any way to get the damn airbag warning graphics off the visors?

I don't know how to get rid of them but I got some black plastic stick-on covers on eBay that hide them well. They are cut to fit and work as advertised.

It's been a while since I bought them and so I don't recall the exact description or the vendor but you should be able to find them if you look.

You have to be careful when installing (applying) them as the plastic is very stretchy and somewhat prone to bubbles.

I like it! I agree with rijowysock that an MSRP of <$87k sounds mighty low for a C2 with that list of pricey options. In any case you made out like a bandit to get that car for $56k.

Thanks for all the posts - you all have some beautiful cars. I'm not sure there's a bad color for a 997. I'll order the visor covers tonight.

i just remembered the 997.1 had a lower msrp. so thats probably it... regardless looking at the car id say 95k sticker from the options so thats even better for you.

You got a great deal on the car, get well and enjoy it.
he did get a great deal-but i would stay clear of the leftover 08 with the tip (now that pdk available) unless they gave you a much better deal then he got-i am sorry to say that pdk will absolutely kill the tip market-in addition, a c2s is not overpowered-the tip kills it, absolutely hampers that great engine. at the right price, the car will sell, but 86 is way way too high for a 2 year old (leftover) tip.
