Its Over!
Track season, that is, for me. After a great weekend at Grattan, this afternoon I put the regular brake pads back on and put the factory seats back in (mmm seat heaters, mmmm). Washed and ready for winter, except the winter wheels/tires won't go on for another month or, hopefully, later.
There are more events, of course, but I can't make them work with my work schedule. So I'm hanging it up for the year, and starting my list for next season (wheels, pads, tires, etc).
I'm going to regret this for a month or so, especially on any nice weekend or if my work schedule opens up. So I guess I'm now hoping for some cold, miserable weather!

You swap out your seats for the season? I haven't heard of that before. Do you have a roll bar? I'm trying to figure out what you would swap out the factory seats for if it didn't mean getting a harness for your trouble.
My winter seats came with the car and are power heated regular seats. I like the heat.
My track/summer seats are Euro GT3 seats on manual sliders. They have seat belt receptacles for the standard belts and the sub bar and harness parts for the track set up - so they swing both ways all summer. But without heaters, they are no good for winter! Another advantage of these seats is the shoulder harnesses easily fit through the holes - so for street use I can just push them into the back seat. The lap belts can be set out of the way, too. And I just extend the sub/buckle to its maximum length and flop it forward so it is just over the front edge of the seat. Easy to get in and out of with a suit on, no unpleasant lumps to sit on or against. Nice street/track compromise.
I'm going to look into getting heaters installed in the track seats - if successful they will stay in all year.
The swap is easy - takes less than an hour to do both and that's just because I keep monkeying around with everything. Probably 10 minutes (four bolts) per seat if I was more focused.
