On my 2009 C4S, when I manually press the electric spoiler button, it raises up without a problem. I then notice that at some point it drops back down by itself but I don't know why. Is there a way to keep it raised ?

See pages 69-70 of your owner's manual.
I would infer that the spoiler would stay up from the description in the manual, but I have not tried this switch myself, since I prefer to keep the spoiler down when not needed for aero at speed.
I rode in a PDK 997.2 C2 at CMP today that had the spoiler extended, and it was up with the car parked and off.

In my '07 C2S the spoiler would raise when the button was pressed and it would stay up for the duration of that 'trip' and then while parked. Upon the next engine start it would drop back down.
I only used the override at the track when I wanted to make sure the spoiler wasn't going up and down as I went through slow corners. I think the car looks better with the spoiler down and (obviously) it serves no function at low speeds.
