i got the car back today. The shop did -1.2 in the front and some other adjustments. The rear camber runs higher, which is actually a good thing i guess because the last set of tires, i managed to blister the outsides of the rears much worse than the fronts.

Tomorrow i have an autox event. can't wait to test the car out!

I'm interested in hearing about your impressions. I use my C4S on the track for DE's and TT's and have typically used a minimal neg camber all around and have had only slightly extra wear on the outer edge. Almost not noticeable. A -1.2 front seems like a lot to me, but as I said I'm very interested in your assessment. Thanks.

The car feels amazing. It changed the turn in completely. Now instead pushing as soon as I lift the nose goes in where before in similar conditions or speed the car would continue to push for a while before it starts turning.

Driving it feels a bit more sensitive but nothing crazy.

Yesterday i ran the car with the local club in autocross and I won my class, won pax and came out 6th overall. In front of me i had fully prepped gt3 on hoosiers, 2000 lbs 924 on slicks a fully prepped miata, an mr2 with a v6 lexus motor and a m3 supercharged, gutted etc etc... I am on hankook rs3s and fully stock suspension...

I will run the car in two more autox events before the season ends and provide more feedback.

I cant imagine the car with more aggressive tires like hoosier a6s or similar...

Does anybody know if I can fit Hoosier A6 255/35-18 in the front and 315/30-18 in the back with the stock suspension?

Do they rub? Front diameter is 24.8 and rear is 25.6, 3.2% difference and about an inch lower than stock. The car should have better acceleration too.

Any ideas? And yes if I do hoosiers the front camber will go over 2 degrees...

when I did the alignment on my 2009 C4S (I have it at home somewhere) I was told that the big problem with the front alignment is that the C4S has front axles which limit the front negative camber adjustment. So you should get much more front camber out of a C2 than a C4

I have a 2007 C4S with PASM and TechArt lowering springs which lower it an additional 15mm effectively the same as Sport PASM.

I took it for an alignment and they were able to get -1.4 in the front and -1.9 in the rear. I haven't tried the car on the track since the alignment but am looking forward to the next outing.

I remember that. Thats because of the front axles but still I dont see it being a problem to get close to 2 degrees or even a bit more...

I will be using hoosiers next year no matter what the camber is. Only if I test I will know...

At the same time looks at the following link / build... Car exactly like mine running coilovers with 2.5 degrees camber in the front!
