Default San Francisco body shop recs

Tried a search, but only a 2003 thread available. Need a rear bumper scratch fixed. Any recs in the city? Dealer (Sonnen) suggests Lofrano and sons.

Ditto. I had an excellent experience using them. Call them and ask for Paul, he is a great gentleman to work with.

Matt's Auto Body on Folsom does excellent work. I think the local BMW dealership uses them exclusively. I've had them do repairs to BMW and Audi - simply perfectly done.

I like Brooks Motor Cars in Oakland at 9829 Bigge Street off 98th Avenue by the Oakland Airport. Daniel Kim is the owner and a great guy and car fanatic. The only shop I have used for the last almost 20 years. 510.632.8901. It's like taking your car to a day spa.

I ended up using Frank Lofrano on Divisadero in the city. Excellent work, not cheap. Sonnen in Marin recommended them.

Adding to the archive here...

Was totally underwhelmed with the Mission team for F Lofrano body shop. Thinking of using Bryant Auto Repair - run by a guy named Ian who is well respected in the BMW community.

I'd love to use the guys down on the Peninsula but it's just too inconvenient and we have great shops in SF.

Personally I'd stay away form Cars Dawdyiak - although they might be good they are offensively expensive and I found their tactics unattractive

Anyone have experience with Bryan Auto Body (Folsom bet 5/6)?

Whitman's Auto Body in San Rafael if you are looking for experience, quality and honesty and they know how to work with insurance adjusters if required. They are also a long time supporter of PCA:
