Talking Tubi Exhaust System installed on 2009 997S C4S Cab @ SharkWerks

This classic black 2009 997S C4S Cabriolet came into us for a full Tubi Style exhaust system upgrade including the center section as well as the two side mufflers. She left with a traditional aggressive Tubi sound that we all know and love. The full system although aggressive sounding does not induce annoying resonance and/or cabin drone even on a Cabriolet. When looking at the pictures below you will also notice that the center section from Tubi is essentially an analogue or our own SharkWerks exhaust. Hence if you already own our system you can certainly pair it up with a set of the side mufflers should you want more sound....

There she is arriving for surgery...

The Tubi center section and side mufflers waiting to be installed:

Once on the lift it's we remove the stock side mufflers and center exhaust (no rear bumper removal necessary!).

Stock side mufflers vs Tubi (which overall save about 25 pounds):

In go the side mufflers first (and the bolt up like factory of course):

And then on goes the center muffler as well:

The Tubi exhaust fits the factory tips or indeed these TechArt dual tips that we use:

And ready to go home!

The full set up sounds superb and it's great to hear these new motors really unleashed! (It works/sounds exactly the same with our center section employed as stated earlier). A video is coming...

Excellent !

So it's 100% compatible with your bypass pipe ?

No drone ?

More hp/tq gains or just more sound with the TUBI side mufflers ?

Hey 964c4 my pleasure and it's funny but the owner of Tubi and I spent the day together at concorso this year and we just laughed about it. Theirs did come to market after ours but it's about as similar as one could get that design works and so I think it's great that they also made it that way too. The center section makes the power and the sides turn up the volume ours is 100% compatible.

Alex, this sounds like "Nip Tuck" for cars!

I sure would like to see the inside of the 997.2 center muffler (resinator)!
